Jackman Jones, who was also known as Mista T Dot, starting djing on new years eve in 2010 as a new years resolution. In 2013, after several mobile, wedding and corporate gigs as a mutli genre DJ and also playing in various venues in Toronto, he decided to get into house music by started his own internet radio show called Wednesday Night Shakedown on allbeatsradio.ca which ended in 2017. In 2018, he changed his name to Jackman Jones and started the now infamous podcast called the Groove Station, a one hour podcast dedicated to house music from all over the world which is heard every Saturday 3pm to 4pm EST on www.beats2dance.com and every Sunday from 9pm to 10pm EST on www.housemusicradio.ca He currently has 7 tracks, four under the Mista T Dot name and 3 under the Jackman Jones name and has dropped 3 tracks on Pure Beats Records which is getting support and radio play and is set to drop tracks on Tip Top Trax, More Than House Records, Badlqqk, Dub City Trax, and Deep Fix Recordings. He also hosts a bi-monthly event called Nuttin But A House Party at CTRL room, which features local and international house DJs. He was part of the first ever #musicunite virtual festival and will also be one of the DJs featured in the forthcoming Toronto House Music Festival in 2021.
